We’d love to share more context on why each ingredient was carefully chosen:
Palm Oil:
We use sustainably sourced palm oil in our Chews. This ingredient plays a critical role in ensuring the right texture and shelf stability without the need for hydrogenated oils or synthetic emulsifiers. We’re mindful of both health and environmental impact when choosing our fats, and this ingredient helps us strike a balance between product quality and sustainability.
Sugar:
The small amount of organic cane sugar is used as a functional carrier for flavor and texture—not as a primary sweetener. Each Chew contains less sugar than many comparable functional products. It’s worth noting that sugar in moderation, particularly when paired with bioactive compounds and fiber, doesn’t have the same metabolic consequences as ultra-processed, high-sugar snacks.
Natural Flavors:
Our natural flavors are food-based extracts (like vanilla bean) and do not contain MSG, solvents, or artificial additives. They are used at very low levels to enhance palatability without overwhelming the product with sweetness or masking our functional ingredients.
Sunflower Lecithin:
This is a natural emulsifier that helps maintain ingredient consistency and improve texture. It’s a well-tolerated, plant-derived alternative to soy lecithin and has functional benefits for the absorption of certain fat-soluble nutrients.
